It's been a very long time since I blogged. I really have no good excuse for my absence. Sometimes life just takes over and time flies by. At this moment our country is under a quarantine, we are all under a stay at home order. There is a virus sweeping our country known as the covid-19, it affects people mostly with weekend immune systems or the elderly. It has swept through our country taking lives leaving people scared and uncertain about their futures. Businesses have been closed, factories have been shut down and we are supposed to maintain a social distance of 6ft. The majority of our country are wearing face masks. Businesses that are still open have installed pexiglass between the employees and the customers.
At the beginning of this outbreak people began to panic and for some really odd reason they began to horde toilet paper. It all began in March and here we are in May and toilet paper is still hard to come by. Its affecting our economy and many people are unemployed. I have this feeling its going to be a while before this country recovers.
I personally have been affected by this change. All of Hannah's doc appointments have been changed to video calls. We have been unable to go on any day trips. And I have really missed going out to dinner. Mike is just now returning to work and we are trying to adjust to the new routine. I am sure I am not the only one who's depression and anxiety have been affected by this. I am praying for the souls lost, the people suffering, and the world as it changes.
