Family comes in all shapes and sizes and is not defined by blood. For most family is the single most important thing in ones life. For me this rings true. For years my family was defined with a mother, father, sister and one solid set of grandparents. This interaction shaped me into the person that I am today. But as we all know families can change, the loss of a grandparent, parent or sibling. That too can impact who we are. Throughout my life my family dynamic has changed but one thing has always remained constant, my family always came first and still does.
Today my family is a bit smaller I have lost my grandparents and my father but I have gained so much more. I now have 2 wonderful daughters and 2 very sweet grand daughters. Every day my relationship grows stronger with these four in my life. Not to mention I have the most amazing and supportive husband.
I just wanted to share how important family can be to ones happiness. Don't get me wrong I do have my ups and downs but without my family close by my side those downs would be so much more difficult. So please reach out to your family and show them how much they are appreciated.
